Domestic Housekeeper – Newcastle and Gateshead
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hardworking individual to join us as a Housekeeper. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of cleanliness is maintained within our services. You will work for our Adult Services, which are dedicated 24-hour specialist rehabilitation and recovery services to help people with complex mental health needs to live well and independently in the community.
You will spend 22.5 hours per week working within our Coalway Lane service, which is based in Swalwell, Gateshead. You will spend the remaining 15 hours per week working within our Jubilee Mews service, which is based in Gosforth, Newcastle. Both services are comprised of three, four-bedroomed detached houses with a staff annex nearby. The houses are fully furnished with all modern conveniences. Everyone who lives at Coalway Lane has their own key to the front door and their bedroom.
About you
We would love to hear from you, if you possess the following:
- Have undergone Health & Safety Awareness training
- Good general cleaning skills
- Hardworking, motivated and flexible
- Good social and communication skills
- Awareness of mental health issues is desirable, not essential
- C.O.S.H.H, Electrical & Machinery Safety, Control of Infection, and Fire Safety Awareness training are desirable, not essential
