The Big Lottery have match-funded European Social Fund to develop the Building Better Opportunities (BBO) programme. This will invest in local projects, tackling the root causes of poverty, promoting social inclusion, and driving local jobs and growth.
After applying to be a delivery partner of the Building Better Opportunities programme, the Northern Inclusion Consortium (NIC) have been successful in reaching round two of the development process for the Tees Valley area.
Mental Health Concern is one of the four core partners of the NIC, alongside Changing Lives, DISC, and Groundwork North East and Cumbria. As a result, we will play a role in the design and delivery of the BBO programme across Tees Valley.
This is a very exciting opportunity and we are very proud to be a part of it!
